John Stephan – You Got It

As TD, Douglas helped design the stage set, which consisted of risers from the Orleans, as well as rental decks and stair units that came from an outside vendor. He helped design and had constructed a LED (RGB color changing) sign that spelled out John Stephan. This sign was flown in and out for numerous songs in the show.

Douglas also found an outside vendor to supply confetti blowers and tissue paper rose petals for the ending of the song “Falling.” Working with the musical director, Douglas helped fix transitions between certain songs, worked with the choreographer to make sure the dancers utilized the multi-level risers on stage, and worked with the house lighting operator to change some lighting looks for certain songs. Douglas also interfaced with the Boyd Gaming Casino, Director of Entertainment Production to coordinate and supervise load in and load out and also worked with the Orleans crew while calling the show from backstage.
