Speaking with Tommy, he wanted the “Amazing Magic” show logo to have a combination feel of liquid metal and the iconic Iron Man suit. With those parameters, Douglas created the new 3D metal “Amazing Magic” logo, adding lens flairs and beams of light. Then Douglas featured his “hero” headshot, his Tommy Wind namesake logo, and a picture of Tommy levitating his wife Stacy (where I changed the color of her dress to match the color palette of the rest of the ad). With these key elements, Douglas created both vertical and horizontal layouts for various ticket brokers websites, as well as, posters on property and digital billboards.
For the rack cards, Douglas incorporated three production photos with action, including Tommy shooting playing cards at the camera, floating a table on stage, and making a girl appear on a magic box. Douglas also used various quotes from Tommy’s reviews over the years performing in Las Vegas, and developed the show description on the rack cards too.
