Human Nature

Project 28 of 35
After the show opened at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas, Douglas was hired by Adam Steck (CEO of SPI Entertainment) as a production consultant and video content designer.

Working with Seth Yudof, Douglas pulled archive footage of Human Nature to re-edit the opening video montage to show the groups international success with concert footage from stadiums and arenas around the world, and added new footage of the group performing with Smokey Robinson.

Douglas worked on a variety of aspects of the show as a production consultant; from helping craft the speech Michael Tierney gives before the a cappella version of “Ooo Baby Baby,” to the scenic transition of the group being back lit on a riser behind a video screen before singing “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” to creating a graphic scenic element made of geometric shapes (reminiscent of the legendary Temptations) while signing the classic “Stop! In the Name of Love.”
